First UMC is a member of the Baltimore/Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church. It is located on
Main Street in the historic district of Laurel Maryland. First UMC currently has over 400 members and conducts
two traditional worship services on Sunday mornings. The church serves primarily the Laurel area including the
city of Laurel, northern Prince Georges County, western Anne Arundel County, south eastern Howard County and eastern Montgomery County.

Worship
Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 11:00am. Dress is casual. Our church provides a staff-supervised Cribbery &
Nursery for newborn to 4 years during Sunday School and the 11:00 service.
Communion is usually served on the first Sunday of each month.
